Domestic Violence Victims

Over ten million people are victims of physical assault each year. That’s nearly 20 people per minute that are physically abused by an intimate partner in the United States alone. Abusers often isolate their victims, limiting their access to calling for help.

Any old cell phone can always call 911 in the case of an emergency. No service contract is needed – the phone only has to be charged to make a call and be connected to the local Police Department.

Senior Citizens

The US population is comprised of over 58 million senior citizens. Most live on fixed incomes, unable to afford a phone plan. 31% do not own a phone at all.

In 2021 alone, 38,742 adults over the age of 65 died from preventable falls, and nearly 2.9 million were treated in emergency departments for injuries.

Our mission it to help connect these communities to emergency services and provide peace of mind not only to them, but for their families and loved ones.

The Environment

Americans throw away 416,000 cell phones every day; 151.8 million phones trashed in a single year. It takes over a thousand years for this mass to biodegrade, leaving behind tons of toxic materials in our environment.

We work with certified e-waste recyclers to keep cell phones out of landfills. Any donated device that can’t be used as an emergency phone is shipped to a certified e-waste recycling facility for proper disposal.
