Donate a Device
step one
Prepare Your Device for Shipment
1
Remove Personal Account information and (if possible) remove iCloud or Google account from your Phone or Tablet:
Check instructions below on removing an iCloud lock or Android Account from your device.
2
Delete Data:
We care about your privacy and security. Every device that arrives at our doorstep will get the same treatment. All devices are reset to their original factory settings – assuring you that no one will ever be able to access any information still on your phone or tablet. But you can also help us out by resetting the devices BEFORE you send them in. Here’s how you do it:
3
Remove the SIM Card
Please remove any SIM cards from the devices you want to donate if possible. If you can’t do this, don’t worry. It’s the first thing we do when a phone or tablet arrives at our location.
step two
Download Shipping Label
US Post Office Label
Below are two shipping options: We can pay for the shipping, or, if you’re feeling generous, you can treat us to the shipping. Selecting “Free Shipping” will take you to a USPS return merchandise page. All you need to do is enter your return shipping information and the contents of the package. It will generate a label with multiple options for printing, either at home or a USPS location. Clicking Self-Pay will open a pdf that you can print to affix to your package. If you have any questions please email us at info@securethecall.org
step three
Spread The Word
We have a favor to ask. Please tell your friends, family, and anyone who will listen to you to spread the word about our collection program on Social Media. If you’re able to make a post – please tag Secure the Call.
