Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Join over 250 companies that have already signed up to help

Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM) is held each October as a way to unite advocates across the nation in their efforts to end domestic violence.

For 18 years, Secure the Call has been collecting and redistributing old and unused cell phones to over 150 organizations dedicated to helping Victims of Domestic Violence. This October, our goal is to receive and send out 10,000 phones to those in need. You can help in our efforts.

How you can help:

Hold a Cell Phone Collection Drive

Get your company involved by holding a cell phone donation drive. Encourage your employees to donate their old and unused cell phones to our program. To help with your drive – Secure the Call can send you our cell phone collection barrel. Save the shipping box as you’ll use this to ship us back the (hopefully) full barrel when your drive is over. You can always collect phones without our barrel and simply box them up and ship when the drive is over.

Send us your old company devices

Every year, millions of retired fleet phones go unused, collecting dust in a storage closet. These phones can be given a second life in Secure the Call’s program. If you have unused cell phones and tablets in your company’s storage, pack em up and print out our free US Post Office label.

Let everyone know you’re holding a drive

If you can – send out an email letting all of your suppliers, contractors and customers know that you’re helping local communities by holding a drive. Ask them to send you their phones to send to us or provide them with our link to print a shipping label.

Give yourself a (tax) break

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, all donations to our program are tax deductible.

Additionally you can mail us a device directly with our free mailing label.

Send an email to [email protected] or give us a call at 301 891-2900 with any questions about how you can join our cause.
